Giving FAQs

Thank you for your interest in donating to Bloom. All funds donated go straight towards the ongoing costs of keeping the Bloom Vocational Training Centre in operation. Your help truly assists us to train and empower young women who have been affected by the trafficking industry in Cambodia.

Is my giving tax deductible?

Yes it is. Bloom is a recognised charity and as such, all your giving is tax deductible.

Simply donate using one of the methods described in get involved and request a receipt:

Direct deposit: email finance@gatewaybap.com with your name, address and the details of your deposit. When your donation is received, a receipt will be sent to you.

Cheque: send your cheque along with a note including your name and address, and a receipt will be sent to you.

Why does my receipt say ‘Global Development Group’?

The Global Development Group is a humanitarian organisation that mobilises resources for international aid and development. They have partnered with Bloom for the provision of tax deductible giving. Under the GDG, Bloom is project J657, and this reference should appear on your receipt.

What reference/description should I use when making a one-off donation online?
Simply use your name as the reference with ‘ donation’, eg. ‘ J. Smith donation’.
